In 2011 Dr Andrew Murray ran 34 miles a day, for 78 consecutive days (that’s over 100 marathons!) to make it from John o’ Groats (Scotland) to the Sahara Desert (Africa). At the finish line he had reached a grand total of 4279.2 kilometers (2659 miles).Read the full story
